Remove Your Face Warts - 4 Ways to Do It
Nobody likes warts, but who likes it on the most obvious part of their body? I know how you feel. I had one on my cheek, and the only thing I could think about when I was talking to people was that they were staring at my wart.
There are lots of options out there on how to remove face warts. Here are a few of the things you can do:
See a doctor
This would obviously be your best bet if you can afford it. Most people can't, so they resort to cheaper alternatives. Unless your wart is crazy looking or you have health insurance, you have better options out there.
Freeze it off
This is a very popular method now-a-days of removing warts, and I've personally used it myself, too (with limited success, I might add).
Burn it off
If you're brave enough, you can try burning it off. Light a match, blow it out, and take the hot ember against the wart. Be very careful with this and a burning ember near your face isn't what most people would recommend.
Use the duct tape trick
This is a new method that I just heard about. You take a piece of duct tape and leave it over the wart for a week, then soak the area in warm water, then rub it gently with something like a nail file. This may be hard or even embarrassing if your wart is in a difficult spot. Repeat these steps once a week until your wart clears. It's said to take about eight weeks.
